The event will be held on 27 February 2026 at Bhai Gurdas Hall, bringing together students, faculty, and young innovators to recognise the transformative role of women in STEM and their contribution to building a progressive and innovation-driven India.
Women in STEM – Catalysts of a Developed India
The vision of Viksit Bharat rests on inclusive growth, technological advancement, and intellectual leadership. Women scientists, researchers, and innovators continue to play a vital role in strengthening India’s scientific ecosystem. Their contributions are not only reshaping laboratories and research institutions but also inspiring future generations to pursue careers in science and technology.
By dedicating this year’s National Science Day to Women in Science, Eternal University reinforces the message that sustainable national development requires equal participation and leadership in STEM fields.
A Day of Creativity, Competition, and Innovation
The celebration features a series of engaging academic and creative activities designed to spark imagination and scientific thinking. The programme includes a Rangoli Competition at 10:00 AM coordinated by Dr. Hemant Dasila, followed by a Science and Technology Quiz at 11:00 AM led by Mr. Balbinder Singh.
In the afternoon, students will participate in the Poster and Painting Competition under the guidance of Dr. Poonam Kumari and present innovative ideas during the Science Model Exhibition coordinated by Dr. Kamal Kishore at 02:30 PM.
Each activity has been thoughtfully curated to provide students with a platform to express ideas, celebrate women scientists, and demonstrate innovation.
